BRAGA & ASSOCIADOS was established in 1981 as a legal practice dedicated to the registration of trademarks, patents, and copyrights. Since its inception, BRAGA has been actively protecting these client rights through legal measures such as Search and Seizure of counterfeit goods, alongside claims for damages. Over the decades, BRAGA pioneered the licensing of emblems for major Brazilian Soccer Clubs, assisting companies interested in launching products featuring these iconic brands. This licensing initiative with major Clubs was a first in Brazil, creating a pressing need to combat piracy as the market was flooded with unauthorized products using these team logos without permission. Today, BRAGA & ASSOCIADOS is internationally recognized as one of the most traditional firms in anti-piracy and intellectual property protection, distinguished by its performance in high-stakes, high-profile cases.
